Convenient campground as stated before. We did not find the sites as spacious as indicated by previous posters. Rather cramped for our 37'Montana. Average campground. Staff was very busy and seemed okay. Our sewer hole had debris in it and we received immediate assistance with this problem. This time of a year, make sure you make reservations, especially over the weekend.
Beautiful Park on the lake. Overall the condition of a park is deteriorating. Totally unhappy with their staff. Heavy-handed manager who is really a cop on the premises. Had a disagreement over the way he handled my nephew. The entire argument took place inside my home. During this argument he did not introduce himelf as an off duty policeman till the very end. The manager called his police cronies on me and had me spend a night in county jail for disturbing peace. The lady at the desk is not the friendliest, but she is okay. One day I was sitting in the clubhouse and over heard a conversation. Someone called in for directions, the Reservoir Patrol cop answered and got quite impatient with the caller and hands it to the secretary.
Not a bad RV park. Part of it is a mobile home park. The area reserved for RVs is not that good, it reminded us of a parking lot. Too many long term residents who make this RV look a bit untidy. The guy next to us had a complex system of sewer pipes installed that made it look a bit tacky. Otherwise, the clubhouse is nice and surrounded area is great: good shopping, movies and near the Interstate 20. We planned to stay here for two months but opted for an RV park in Brandon instead.
